Govineer Solutions, a Provo-based provider of software and payments solutions for local governments, has appointed Manav Thiara as chief product and technology officer. Thiara will lead the company’s product strategy and technology functions, including engineering, architecture, data and AI. Thiara joins Govineer from Sage, where he most recently served as senior vice president of engineering and platforms. He has extensive experience in enterprise technology, data and AI, including establishing Sage’s AI Center of Excellence. He previously held senior technology roles at TD, First Data and Microsoft. His appointment, along with that of Frank Pollock as vice president and general manager of payments, represents Govineer’s first senior hires since receiving a strategic growth investment from TA Associates earlier this year.
