Zions Capital Markets, a subsidiary of Salt Lake City-based Zions Bancorporation NA, has appointed Vince Toye as managing director, head of agency multifamily lending. The move follows the close of its acquisition of the agency lending platform of Basis Multifamily Finance I LLC. Toye will focus on building the agency business and its service capabilities within the Real Estate Capital Markets division. Under his guidance, Agency Multifamily Lending will enhance Zions Capital Markets’ ability to meet the financing needs of multifamily owners, operators and developers nationwide, ZCM said. Toye previously served as managing director/head of community development banking at JPMorgan Chase. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president and group head for community lending and investment for Wells Fargo, and also served as head of production for Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital, where he managed the government-sponsored enterprise originations team, increasing production and overseeing the bank’s relationships with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
