Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah has announced that several people have earned endowed chair appointments. Endowed chairs provide philanthropic support that fuels high-impact cancer research; strengthens scientific leadership; and accelerates breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
David Wetter, senior director of cancer health implementation and director of the Center for HOPE at Huntsman Cancer Institute and professor of population health sciences at the University of Utah, has been renewed as the Jon and Karen Huntsman Presidential Professor in Cancer Research, in recognition of his continued excellence and impact.
