Dr. Jairam Krishnamurthy named Huntsman Cancer Institute Endowed Chair in Women's Cancer Research

Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah has announced that several people have earned endowed chair appointments. Endowed chairs provide philanthropic support that fuels high-impact cancer research; strengthens scientific leadership; and accelerates breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Jairam Krishnamurthy, medical oncologist and researcher at Huntsman Cancer Institute and associate professor of internal medicine at the University of Utah, has been appointed the Huntsman Cancer Institute Endowed Chair in Women's Cancer Research. This is Krishnamurthy's first endowed chair recognition.
