Evergreen Development, an Arizona-based regional commercial real estate developer, has promoted four people to principal, including Matt Nielson, based in the company’s Salt Lake City office. Nielson, principal, retail acquisitions, has been with Evergreen for 10 years. He sources and executes development and acquisition opportunities, with a focus on grocery-anchored shopping centers, and mixed-use projects in Utah and Idaho. He is a member of the ICSC Next Generation Leadership Network and a graduate of the Small Giants Leadership Academy. He received his bachelor’s degree in English and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Utah. Founded in 1974, Evergreen has completed more than 650 projects across 21 states. It has offices in Arizona, Colorado, Utah and California.
