The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm, which houses thousands of fossilized footprints and other fossils, has appointed Mindy Plumlee as its executive director. Plumlee succeeds Diana Call, who is stepping down as executive director. Plumlee has over 25 years of nonprofit executive leadership experience, including 22 years as executive director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho. She has extensive experience writing and managing grants, cultivating major gifts and donors, and building sustainable membership and planned giving programs. Plumlee has also recruited and led large boards, including a 22-member statewide board with eight committees, along with staff and volunteer teams of up to 30 staff and 450 volunteers.
