
Sean Tavtigian, co-leader of Cancer Control and Population Sciences Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah has announced that several people have earned endowed chair appointments. Endowed chairs provide philanthropic support that fuels high-impact cancer research; strengthens scientific leadership; and accelerates breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Sean Tavtigian, co-leader of Huntsman Cancer Institute's Cancer Control and Population Sciences Program and professor of oncological sciences at the University of Utah, has been renewed as the Jon and Karen Huntsman Presidential Professor in Cancer Research, in recognition of his continued excellence and impact.
