Zions Bank Foundation donates $10K to Blood Cancer United
Zions Bank Foundation gift supports Blood Cancer United's Utah programs and research

The Zions Bank Foundation has donated $10,000 to Blood Cancer United’s Utah office.
Christina Miles, Zions Bank director of sales, and Kyle Ariotti, Zions Bank commercial banking relationship manager presented the check on Aug. 25 to Kristen Anderson, executive director for the Mountain Region of Blood Cancer United.
Miles serves as corporate walk chair of Blood Cancer United’s “Light The Night” event in Boise, and Ariotti serves as an executive committee member of the “Light The Night” event in Utah. The funds will support Blood Cancer United’s mission to help cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life for blood cancer patients and their families.
The organization hosts the annual “Light The Night” Walk, which honors those affected by blood cancer. Individuals or companies may sign up as a team to participate and raise funding to support lifesaving cancer research. Utah’s event will be held Oct. 8 at Sugarhouse Park.
“This donation means so much because Blood Cancer United has a bold goal of adding 1 million years of life to blood cancer patients by 2040,” said Anderson in a release. “Donations like this from the Zions Bank Foundation will enable us to do just that.”
Supporting health and human services is a key focus of the Zions Bank Foundation’s charitable giving.
“As someone with a loved one fighting blood cancer, I personally understand the impact that Blood Cancer United makes,” said Miles. “I’m proud to support their mission to cure blood cancer and give families more time and cherished memories together.”
